Nigerians to Witness Partial Solar Eclipse On Sunday?

The Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency, Dr. Seidu Mohammed, claims that on Sunday Nigerians will witness a partial or even total solar eclipse.
Mohammed made this known at the briefing in Abuja. He urged Nigerians not to panic over the course of the eclipse.
According to his words, the eclipse will be seen across the country and in the West African sub-region.

Another plane crash averted in Abuja

Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport AbujaAnother air disaster was averted at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport, Abuja on Monday as a Med-View Airlinesaircraft from Lagos suddenly took to the air again at the point of landing in Abuja.
The pilot told the passengers that he took to the air again to avoid a collision with another aircraft on the tarmac.

ASUU STRIKE: We Are Tired Of Staying At Home! - Lecturers

Now when the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is well into its fourth month, some lecturers are coming out in the open to advocate the suspension of the industrial action.
Writing on his Facebook wall, one of the lecturers said: “He who fights and run away lives to fight another day”.
Jude Osy Nwankwo, who teaches at the University of Nigeria (UNN), admitted that the strike is taking effect on the lecturers. His words:
