ASUU Made Me Take Part In Project Fame

Olawale Ayodele Ojo, winner of the MTN Project Fame (Season 6), in a recent interview about his experience in the competition and other issues:
Shortly after you were announced winner of the MTN project Fame, you said your mind was still blank to express how you felt. It is about 48 hours now, so how are you feeling?
I feel blessed. I feel that everything around just worked for me this season because I didn’t really expect to come out as the winner this season. It’s about God because I don’t believe there is something I did that others didn’t do. It was the grace of God and the people that voted for me. I’m really grateful to all the people that believed in me and voted. I wouldn’t have won without them. Basically, I feel this is God’s grace because at a point in the competition, I was almost evicted, so when you look at everything from beginning to the end, you will realise that it is God’s grace.

Super Eagles Arrive In Ethiopia

The Nigerian national team arrived in Addis Ababa on Saturday morning for Sunday’s 2014 World Cup qualifying first leg play-off match against Ethiopia.

Their chartered Ethiopian Airlines plane touched down at the Bole International Airport at 8:50am with a delegation which included government officials, members of the Nigeria Football Federation, Nigeria Supporters Club and press.
Players of the national team were warmly received by locals at the airport as they made their way to the team bus and onwards to their hotel.

LAGOS PLANE CRASH: Pilots Were Arguing Before Agagu's Plane Crashed

The black box of the Associated Airline aircraft which crashed on Oct. 3 in Lagos Nigeria has 
revealed that, there appeared to have been an argument between the Captain and the First Officer of the Airline.
The readout of the black box ,also known as Cockpit Voice Recorder, CVR, conducted by Nigeria’s Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, in its Abuja’s laboratory revealed that the computer onboard the plane sent a warning message to the Captain, Yakubu Abdulrahman, shortly before take-off but he ignored it

ASUU Strike: FG Stops Payment Of Lecturers Salaries

As the ongoing strike by Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, enters the fourth month, there are strong indications that the Federal Government has commenced the implementation of the “No Work, No Pay” rule.
