Central Bank Of Nigeria, CBN Banned Importation Of US Dollars To Stabilize Naira

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN has cancelled importation ofUS Dollars and

 all foreign currencies due to the seemingly dollarisation of the economy.

On Tuesday, The Central Bank Of Nigeria stated that the move was part of its resolve 

to save the naira as well as the economy from external threats and dominance.

However, commercial banks can only bring in foreign currency into the country after

 getting the necessary approval from the CBN.

From New York Times  Apple is the new most valuable brand in the world, according to a closely followed annual report. The report, to be released next Monday, is from Interbrand, a corporate identity and brand consulting company owned by the Omnicom Group that has been compiling what it calls the Best Global Brands report since 2000. The previous No. 1 brand, Coca-Cola, fell to No. 3.

Update on OJB in India

For those who would like to be updated, here's a little info for you. More than a month after he went to India for kidney surgery, veteran music producer OB Jezreel is yet to undergo the surgery. The delay was necessary to enable OJB undergo several pre-transplant treatment before the main surgery. He has now concluded all necessary medical tests and will have the procedure in the coming days
