So sad! Rihanna is still getting over her May, 2013 split from Chris after he shot down her dream of starting a family with him. RiRi reveals in a new interview that she still wants to have children but admits she doesn’t have a ‘potential baby daddy’ in her life.
In a new interview with Glamour, Rihanna, 25, opens up about her desire to one day have children. But for that to happen, well, she’s got to find a man first!
“One day I will have kids,” she tells the publication, on newsstands Oct. 8. “I look forward to the day when I’m gonna be a mom. But I’m nowhere close. I don’t even have a potential baby daddy!”
Rihanna seems sad that it didn’t work out between her and her first love, Chris, but am sure there are countless men out there who would love to start a family with her! Of course, she’s not waiting for just any man to be the father of her children — she’s waiting for Mr. Right! Good for her!
A source close to the former couple revealed that Rihanna told Chris she wanted to start a family with him one day, but his reaction shocked her and broke her heart!
“She told him she loved him and could see herself starting a family with him in the future,” the source revealed. “She wasn’t talking like right now.”
Shortly after Rihanna poured her heart out to Chris, he went on The Kyle & Jackie O radio show May 5, and said he wasn’t focused on “wifing” Rihanna. This, was the last straw for her.
Chris definitely didn’t handle that in the best way, but both he and Rihanna are still very young. They have plenty of time to start a family — and who knows — maybe it will still be together!
