Her friends say the popular blogger, who founded the blog three years ago to 'celebrate the beauty of dark skin while combatting colorism and promoting self love', suffered from depression and mental illness for many months before taking her life. Friends say the depression started after she lost her mum to cancer in 2013.

$450,000 Lamborghini Aventador wrecked in crash

A Lamborghini Aventador speed car worth about $450,000 was wrecked in a three-car smash on one of London's most expensive streets, Sloane Street in Knightsbridge, yesterday afternoon.
The Lamborghini was involved in the crash with a BMW and a Mazda 5. The matte black super car collidedwith the Mazda, then hit a stationary BMW, badly damaging the front of the car. Ouch! I'm seriously hurting for the owner...:-). See more photos after the cut...

I think that for us in showbiz, people tend to assume that we do not have to work, that all we do is show up looking pretty. But when they try to do half of what we do they confess that men, we dey try. There is a lot of work involved in entertainment. It is in Nigeria that we do not take training in entertainment very seriously. You have to respect us because a lot of what you see is us making it up as we go, raw talent. Only a small percentage of us does any training. We should learn to give ourselves a break and avoid this pull me down mentality.
But most of these naysayers you get are anonymous, I don’t think people come up to you to say crap in your face. There has to be some consolation in that.
