Miley Cyrus Smokes 'Weed' On Stage At The MTV Europe Music Awards

Miley Cyrus kept her MTV Europe Music Awards performances pretty tame, but we're guessing she knew she'd get people talking with her EMAs acceptance speech. 
All eyes were on the 20-year-old singer as she went to collect the award for Best Video for "Wrecking Ball," telling the crowd she didn't think she would be able to fit the award in her purse as she put the trophy on the ground.

Nigeria Wins FIFA U-17 World Cup!

The final kicked off with tensions on both sides. After 5mins of play Nigeria scored it's first goal. Themost effective players in the fisrt half were, Yahaya, Alampasu, Dias and Rodriguez. The Mexicansstarted better in the 2nd half but they soon found themselves behind after an outside shot from MusaMuhammad was pushed back for a rebound kick which was well delivered by Kelechi Iheanacho to make it second goal for Nigeria.

According to reports, this man was caught at Tipper garage near Gwarimpa in Abuja with a dead baby stuffed in a suitcase.
They said he was arrested on a tip off...but another source said that the conductor of the bus he entered asked him to bring his suitcase so it can be stored properly and the man vehemently refused.

Nigerian Man Beats His Nephew To Death For Bed-wetting In London

A 43-year-old Nigerian man identified as Ben Igbinedion is cooling off in a London jail for killing his nephew.
3-year-old Daniel Evbuowman met his untimely death in the hand of his angry uncle in the wee hours of Saturday 2nd of March, 2013.
Ben Igbinedion reportedly attacked the innocent boy after discovering urine on the bed they shared.
Moments after the brutal assault that left the little boy unconscious, he quickly placed the child in a different bed, but when other family members tried to wake Daniel in the morning, they found him unresponsive. Daniel was taken to a hospital where he died.

ASUU STRIKE: FG, ASUU To Meet Again Next Week

Academic Staff Union of Universities met across the country on Thursday to consider the offer by the Federal Government.
The ASUU President, Dr. Nasir Faggae after a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan which ended in the early hours of Tuesday had told reporters that the union would take back an undisclosed message to their members.
The PUNCH gathered that the striking public universities lecturers met in the nine zones of ASUU with branch chairmen to discuss the outcome of the meeting with the President.
The meetings presided over by zonal coordinators afforded them (zonal coordinators) the opportunity to brief the branch chairmen about the offer made by the Federal Government to revamp the public universities across the country.
