Project Fame’s Chidinma Banned from Church Choir For Not Being Spiritually Fit

In case you didn’t know Chidinma Ekile is a member of the Choir in Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria. Probably based on her fame and genre of music, some other members of the choir have started to have slight issues and concluded she wasn’t spiritually eligible to be in the church choir. The MTN Project fame Season 3 winner said in an interview with HHW Online that she has not deviated from the doctrines of the church and that music cannot take church service from her. According to Chidinma, the church has no problem with her career as an artiste at the same time, singing in the choir.

Few days ago, the story of Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State who was placed under house arrest by her husband, Governor Sullivan Chime went viral online and now the latest news on this case is that Clara Chime has employed Nigerian human right Lawyer, Mr Femi Falana to help in securing her release.
Femi Falana has asked the Police IG, Mr. MD Abubakar, to ensure the immediate release from unlawful detention of Mrs. Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State who is being held hostage at Government House Enugu by Governor Sullivan Chime, or be dragged to court.
In a letter dated November 1, 2013, Mr. Falana, representing Mrs. Chime, pointed out that his client has been kept incommunicado in solitary confinement for over four months on the directives of Governor Chime.

Fire Engulfs The Great Nigeria House In Lagos

Hundreds of tenants and traders wept on Monday as fire engulfed the Great Nigeria House along Martins Street on Lagos Island, which served as their offices and warehouses.The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the fire brought commercial activities in the Balogun area of Lagos Island to a standstill.
NAN reports that many of the traders were seen scrambling to salvage few of their goods from the burning building.

Anambra State University, Uli has been named after late biafran leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, announced the renaming of the University in a live broadcast on Anambra Broadcasting Service Television ABStv on Friday November 1st. The governor said the university was being renamed in celebration of Ojukwu'sposthumous 80th birthday.
