Mikel’s first ever EPL goal:A Sign of confidence

John Obi Mikel scored his first goal in the English Premier League on Saturday evening to cap Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Fulham at Stamford Bridge.

The Nigerian who is nearing a seven-year sojourn at Stamford Bridge had never scored in the Premier League in 185 matches. His two goals had come in the FA Cup.

Even though it was another more prolific African Samuel Eto’o who was expected to deliver the goals for the Blues, Chelsea’s match winning strike came off the boots of the unlikely Mikel.

Pasuma replaces stolen Range Rover with another Range Rover

Four months after losing his metalic coloured 2009 Range Rover SUV (pictured left) Fuji finest Wasiu Alabi Pasuma has replaced it with a 2010 Navy Blue Range Rover (pictured right).

Pasuma was attacked on Monday May 27th by armed robbers who made away with his SUV. Despite receiving help from the Nigerian police force and the OPC, the car was never recovered.

"We figured that the winners get celebrated enough so we thought it was about time that the losers get celebrated," Hamm exclusively told me earlier tonight at Vanity Fair and Maybelline's Mad Mad party at Chateau Marmont. "And Poehler and I are friends from a long time ago and every year when we would lose the Emmy we would kind of wink at each other and call each other loser for the rest of the night.
