The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP, has described the ongoing crisis tearing the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, apart as an indication that the end has finally come for the acclaimed largest party in Africa.
Baba Agan, Benue State chairman of the CNPP, yesterday, in Makurdi, the state capital said the current power-tussle in the PDP is, “God’s divine intervention to liberate the ordinary Nigerian from long years of deprivation, repression and maladministration by a class that has held Nigerians captive.”
According to him, “What we are seeing in the acclaimed biggest party in Africa is a clear indication that it is only God that rules in the affairs of men. Nigerians are suffering in the midst of plenty and those ruling us have not taken it upon themselves to assiduously address these pains the people are living with.
